Personally I would always keep it checked as a default unless I was showing images as part of a posting on travel. Is of importance for removing GPS data, especially since it can point less than honest people at your home address. There isn't an option available to remove all data. Click on the fly away arrow on the right side of the gray box. Back then I liked the program, giving it a recommendation and a final verdict of the following: I realize that many people won’t find ExifCleaner useful it is a niche program, after all but for what it does, I really like it.
EXIFCLEANER REVIEW HOW TO
I couldn't figure out how to strip the EXIF data with it, but I like it for everything else!!! dotTech reviewed ExifCleaner (v1.1) back in 2010. Awesome AppImages are single-file applications that run on most Linux distributions. I really love FastStone! Thanks for the link!!! I use ACDSee for a quick file viewer, but I really like FastStone much better. ExifCleaner is available as an AppImage which means 'one app one file', which you can download and run on your Linux system while you dont need a package manager and nothing gets changed in your system. If all you want to do is strip out the exif data then get a copy of the free image viewing and editing program Can you help me with this, because that would be the easiest solution for me since I can do it all at once at the export step, and wouldn't have to open a second program. What am I missing? The check box that says "Remove Location Data" does do it (am I right about that?), and I don't think writing the keywords into the Metadata will do it. Here is the section of the Export window in LR 4.1 that has to do with Metadata: that would be the easiest solution for me since I use LR for every image I process at some point in the chain, although I didn't realize that it would strip the EXIF data during export. Lightroom also allows editing and you can strip out the data when you export images. EXIFTool is probably a bit more than I need, at least at this point, but I downloaded it in case I find I need to some more detailed editing.
